THE STORY

 

Elio Trovarelli was born in Rome, Italy.

Melinda Badger Trovarelli made a visit 

to Italy and met charming Elio

and "wah-lah!" They fell in love in

that very romantic city!!!!!!!

 

Together, they operated a "tarttoria"

style restaurant in the heart of Rome

for over ten years.

 

Fortunately for all who visit or live in
Tubac and the surrounding areas, they

ended-up in our lovely village because of

family in Green Valley........

 

Thus was born "Melio's" - The Italian

translation "Di Meglio" means "the

best" and in this case it is also the 

combination of Melinda and Elio!

 

They would like to suggest that when you

dine at "Melio's", you eat (Mangia) as

the Romans do: "The pasta is prepared

al dente e espressa, which means firm

and not pre-cooked - so that you may

enjoy an authentic Italian dining

experience!
